Human Made

Project Goals

Human Made is a digital campaign developed in response to the ethical concerns by AI-generated art, including unconsented data scraping, loss of artist authorship, and cultural misattribution. The challenge was to design a human-first branding system that clearly differentiates human-made and AI-generated work, restores transparency, and provides artists with accessible tools to protect, label, and steward their work within digital ecosystems.

Process & Solution

Human Made combines UX research, branding, and service design to translate ethical concerns into actionable items. The campaign includes a flexible visual identity, a standardized labeling framework, and modular patterns applied across digital posters and social content. These assets support a centralized web-based toolkit where artists can upload and protect work, access educational resources, and review artist-first policies, forming a cohesive and scalable system for ethical creation and distribution.
